Improving Access and Use of Science and Innovation in Areas Affected by Mountain Pine Beetle

Project Abstract:
The majority of the activities under this project are designed to increase access to and awareness of current scientific, experiential, and indigenous knowledge relating to mountain pine beetle. This will be accomplished through LINK articles, maintenance of a bark beetle website, an NRIN database, and an events catalogue. Some of the activities will also increase the knowledge of natural resource managers on issues relating to the management of forest stands infested with mountain pine beetle. This will be accomplished through a series of JEM Extension Notes.
