Continuing Forest Sector Education Initiative
Project Abstract: British Columbia's forests are managed by a diverse, highly competent, and committed professional workforce. These professionals rely on access to the best and most efficient continuing education opportunities in order to maintain their competence and ensure sustainability of forest resources. Continuing education products and services also provide an effective and efficient outlet for forest scientists to exchange the latest Forest Science Program results and other new knowledge to improve sustainable forestry in British Columbia. In collaboration with the Ministry of Forests and Range, academic institutions and professional associations, activities in this project will build on the results of the foundation work of the previous year. Results will see improvements in the development of a collaborative continuing education strategy for British Columbia.
