Culture, Values, and Land Use: A Written Syntheses

Project Abstract:
The "uniqueness" of Aboriginal Forestry within British Columbia is a growing area of recognition. This written synthesis will attempt to demonstrate some of the current and ongoing projects that will express the main concerns and practices from a First Nations perspective. This written synthesis will provide up to date information on current cultural models that are specific to the First Nations in British Columbia; it will also provide timely information for non-aboriginal forest and land planners/managers to make better land-use planning decisions.
